1. Visit www.letsgetsocialnow.com
2. There should be something that says “Let’s Get Social Button Option”. Choose the size you want your Social Bookmark Buttons to be from there.

Earnings in March $26.71 (Updated: 3/4/2010)

Today I earned $6.54 and got around 785 views from Ehow. Managed to write 5 articles today even though I was very busy working on a fix for the new Wordpress project I’ve been taking on. Not too mention I have been updating my own blog as well. I’ll be showing you how you can get backlinks for your Ehow Articles without doing any heavy linking for the most part.

You may have noticed my eHow blog started on Blogger. I recently moved them here. Wordpress indexes a website much quicker than Blogger, so you have a better chance if you build your site here.

How to Get Backlinks for your Ehow Articles

1. The first thing you will need to do in order to build backlinks for your Ehow Articles is start posting on forums more frequently. Take your time to join at least 5 forums that are relevant to each of your Ehow Articles. Once you have done that, try to post twice a day on each so you can build up your reputation. Do not spam the forum with links, since your link will be in your forum signature. Look for “Do-Follow” forums.

2. Blogs are a great way to get backlinks. Once written content has been accepted, visit similiar blogs and post relevant comments or questions. Be sincere, posting on something that you are really interested in. You can include a link on blogs that are “Do-Follow” meaning your link will be counted as a backlink.

3. Begin to write content for other blog owners. Being a guest blogger is a great way of retrieving traffic to your website, while getting a single back link from the owner’s blog. Look in the contact page of other bloggers and see if you can e-mail them. Building backlinks is a great way to make friends, and improve your writing if you look at it from a different view.

4. Put up Xomba Blurs or Squidoos on what you just wrote about. Be sure to include your link. Let’s say you build a Squidoo about how to declaw a cat. You did this on the sole purpose to get backlinks for your Ehow Articles, and to earn extra on both sites. What happens if you use good SEO? You’ll get hundreds of visitors to your website, then you can link an Ehow Article about “How to Stop your Cat to stop Scratching”. It is relavant, yet both topics and content are not duplicate to penalize you in the search engines.

5. The easiest way to build backlinks for your Ehow articles is to add the links in your blog. I would do only five links per post every few days. That way it doesn’t look like you are spamming your own website. Build more content around these links that are highly relevant.

Well, today as I was working on my moms site, I noticed the Wordpress Widget doesn’t work. I beleive it is an error on the Widget. Was trying to make the Wordpress Image Widget get my banners to align on the leftside. Instead they were on the right side.

Anyways, to fix it – I had to manually enter all my banner coding in the sidebar.php file. Took me an hour to find out what this was, with the help of another designer. If it wasn’t for him – it would have took me alot longer to figure out.

In the morning, I checked my Ehow. My articles earned $7.77 overnight. That’s 844 people that looked at my content. Anyways, I had no time to add any new articles today. Was out all day running errands and got a lot of things done.

I’ll be adding all my content from Blogger and deleting this blog. Everything will be moved to my Wordpress website. Everything on my other site get’s indexed very easily and I want to add my Adsense on there as well.

Sorry about yesterday. I was so busy setting up my Mom’s site on Wordpress, that I forgot to update my Ehow earnings! Anyways, yesterdays earnings were only $5.40. Overnight I received $7 which was nice. Officially going to set my $10 goal and see how long it takes until I start earning that. Many of my articles have great keywords but are not being indexed correctly. Not sure if it’s a bug in the system, but I certainly should be earning more with 357 articles. Writing at least 7 a day is enough for me and I’m working hard to acheive my goals.

I finished writing 5 Ehow articles today, so now I am going to work more on my mother’s Wordpress site and then go back to my article SEO study. I’ll post more tomorrow.

Today was a good day with $7.33 earned overnight in Ehow earnings. Above my average, yay. A total of 851 views from people.

Lately I’ve been conducting an experiment on articles written with multiple keywords. So far, the articles I posted were indexed in under 48 hours. 6/9 articles were indexed to be exact. I will be writing another five articles today and also check on them the next day to see if the are indexed with multiple keywords within the title.

As for the other articles I have – they havn’t even came up in the Google searches so it’s kind of worries me. I have noticed the March carryover bug appeared on Ehow but they should have it fixed soon.

Ended the month over what I thought it would be which is nice. Way below average with only $4.8 earned last night. My views are at 664. Not too bad. Anyways, with all the articles I’ve added.. I’m hoping for at least $300 for March. Right now I will only be adding one or two articles a day until I tweak all the other ones.

My Ehow Earnings is slowly starting to build up and I feel like I’ve accomplished something. In this past month, I noticed that a handful of my articles arn’t indexing within two weeks. A few other people also noticed this in the forums. I do realize it could take one month for an article to index, but this is not normal for me since some Ehow articles are indexed in four days at least. It may be another glitch of theirs. Anyhow, this morning I created a Squidoo lens and added my articles to them. I think I will start trying to do 2 backlinks each day for my articles.

Another Ehow glitched I just noticed is the article publishing. Last night when I added a few more articles, number #1 article published, while number #2 didn’t publish until 6 hours later which was very weird. Number three also published, and the middle one was stuck for some reason. Ohwell.

Greetings all. Today I decided I won’t be writing as many articles and will be just concentrating on my Keyword Research Techniques on Ehow. I am going to go back edit the keywords of older articles and tweak each one tonight. This can be for a few of the zero earners, or the ones that are under $0.50c.

I usually do this with Adwords Keyword Research, but lately I’ve noticed that some of the past topics I wrote about are very broad and need to be more specific in order to get earnings and more views. Now, views don’t matter that much. I’ve often had some articles with only twenty views make two or three dollars. Some with over a thousand views can make only a few cents – but that depends entirely on my keywords and the ads that Google has. I learned this by watching more content slowly grow.

Anyways, looks like I made $6.71 overnight. That’s a nice sum, but I still want $10 a day – that’d be awsome. As for my views, I have accumlated 734 people who viewed my content.
Now it’s time for me to go edit my titles, some keywords, and definitely work on some my content for older articles. A well informed article can go along way if I really put some time and effort into it to maximize keyword research techniques.

During November is when I first started earning Ehow Income and so far it was interesting seeing everything build up. For some reason, I took a large jump in the Ehow Earnings from November to December. I was actually kind of surprised. Here is a Screenshot of my Income last year.

You notice that in my first month, I received $12.20. I wrote under thirty articles I think. I’ll look up the full stats later, anyways and still actually got some money without any knowledge of SEO. In the late month of December, I started to realize I needed to do keyword research. With the month ending at $65.32, my articles quickly turned into real earnings once I tweaked most of my written articles. That really helped a lot.

The next month of January I had a total of $104.69 so it wasn’t much of a difference and I only earned $39.37 extra for all of my articles. That’s okay though, the more I write and learn about search engine optimization – the better experience I’ll get.

Currently, it is almost the end of the month and I’m at $122. I wouldn’t be surprised if it reaches $130, so we’ll see how this goes. Anyways, time to go clean the house and get ready for bed. Still so much to do here, and not enough time!
